Thomas L. Siebert : ウィキペディア英語版 | Thomas L. Siebert Thomas Leland Siebert, born 1946, is an American lawyer and former diplomat. Siebert was appointed United States Ambassador to Sweden in 1994 by President Bill Clinton and served in this capacity until 1997. Currently Siebert holds a position at law firm Thompson Coburn LLP in Washington D.C. He lives with his wife, Debbie, and children Lauren, Teddy, and Trevor, in Annapolis, MD. Siebert's daughter Sarah is married and lives in New York, NY with her husband. Siebert received his B.A. at Georgetown University in 1968 and his J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center in 1972. According to Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter,〔Dagens Nyheter, November 11, 1993〕 Siebert came to know President Clinton during his university years.
